FUNERAL LEECH: DEATH DOOM DANCE REVIEW ‘The Illusion of Time’

My April album of the month is FUNERAL LEECH ‘The Illusion of Time’ whose mid-tempo double kick death doom hits in all the right places. And when thos synths drop on top of their already grueling sound, prepare for an out-of-body experience. Allow me to demonstrate!

CARNAL TOMB: DEATH DOOM DANCE REVIEW ‘Embalmed In Decay’

I am currently moving to the new CARNAL TOMB (Nov 3) whose death metal is as filthy as it is adventurous, with riffs galore interspersed with doom-laden passages. The real star is the mix, as every bass attack can be heard and felt, and things get especially juicy on “Cerebral Ingestion” with that disco hi-hat and irresistible groove.
